Aldi Is Selling a $20 Outdoor Hammock Chair So Similar to a Lowe's Style Nearly 4x the Price

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to fun seating in your backyard or on your patio. You can always go with a classic chair, but there are also more unique options like wicker egg chairs or hanging hammock chairs. The latter gives off a whimsical, boho-chic vibe that can go with most backyard design setups. And for Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds, the popular budget grocery store is selling a hanging hammock chair that rivals a style from Lowe’s that’s almost four times the price.

From July 3 through July 9, Aldi is dropping the Belavi Hanging Hammock Chair for $19.99. This has a classic hammock chair design with a “durable polyester fabric” base for the seat and chords or rope that attach the seat to a hanging bar up top. This one also has armrests and a removable pillow near the head area of the hammock chair. It measures 22 inches by 23.6 inches and is 50.4 inches tall.

Products like this can feel a bit iffy or precarious because they have to hang onto something. But Aldi’s site says this chair holds up to 250 lbs and it comes with hanging hardware (plus a carrying bag because it’s portable too). This is only intended for outdoor use, and it comes in three different colors or patterns: Sheer Bliss (a solid blush pink), Striped Surf Spray (mint green and white striped), or Boho Rust (a red geometric pattern).

As we mentioned before, Aldi’s hanging hammock chair looks very similar to other ones like it, including the Sunnydaze Decor Polycotton Hammock Chair with Armrests at Lowe’s. It’s currently $74.95 and has nearly the same design as Aldi’s chair, from the way the ropes connect the seat to the hanging bar to the armrests. The main difference is that the seat has a bubble, quilted texture made from polycotton, whereas Aldi’s is smooth. It’s somewhat of the same size, with a weight capacity of 300 lbs and measuring 37.25 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 40 inches tall. And while you can probably find other colors online from Sunnydaze, the one on the is the Lowe’s site is black and white striped.

Summer is about hanging outside and relaxing in ways you can’t during other parts of the year. And Aldi’s Belavi Hanging Hammock Chair seems like a fun way to do that. And with a price as low as $19.99, it could definitely be worth a trip to the store.
